Mode 03 - Freight

Road

The last mile, the first mile, and everything in between.

Meridian coordinates a fleet of 4,200 partnered carriers across 62 countries. Every chassis has satellite GPS. Every container has a tamper-evident seal. Every driver has been verified, every route has been pre-cleared, and every delivery is signed electronically at the door. The truck is the most flexible mode we operate - and the one where dispatching discipline matters most.

Dispatch

Overview

Road freight is the only mode that can deliver door-to-door without a handoff. That flexibility is also its weakness.

A ship can carry 24,000 containers but only between two ports. A truck can carry one container but between any two addresses on the planet. That flexibility is why road is the most-used mode in the world - and why it's the hardest to dispatch well. A bad dispatcher sends the wrong truck to the wrong address at the wrong time and your container sits on a chassis for three days accruing detention.

Meridian's dispatch system is built around constraints. We model driver hours-of-service regulations in 62 countries, weigh bridge clearances against your cargo height, and pre-clear toll transponders so the truck doesn't stop. When a delay is predicted - weather, traffic, border queue - the system reroutes before it becomes a problem, not after.

Every chassis in our partnered fleet has satellite GPS reporting every fifteen minutes. Every container has a tamper-evident seal scanned at pickup and verified at delivery. Every driver has been background-checked, every route has been risk-assessed, and every delivery is signed electronically on a driver tablet that syncs to your tracker in real time.

Why Meridian

Why teams choose our road product

4,200 verified carriers

Every carrier is audited for insurance, safety record, and equipment. We don't accept bids from random trucks.

GPS on every chassis

Position reported every fifteen minutes. You see the same map our dispatchers see, in real time.

Hours-of-service aware

We model driver regulations in 62 countries. Your truck doesn't get parked at a weigh station for a violation.

Auto-rerouting

Weather, traffic, border queue - the system reroutes before it becomes a delay, not after.
